AWS has been in the contract for years now. Try and do some reading.

That will not work. It seems like not many around here know how to read. They do not understand proper grammar, nor spelling, however they do understand the fantasy world of which they live in.

So sad, yet so true. Sadly enough ALOT of people on here can not "think or do" for themselfs. They can not look up or go get "factual answers" for themselves. For example, everyone crying about AWS..it is true, that has been in the contract for years now. Actually there is a letter in the new contract stating that the company has to go to a "review board" before they can just throw the AWS at us (thus making it harder for them to do so then would have in the past) And people are "crying and bitchin about this like its some new horrible thing..wake up people its an IMPROVEMENT to something already in place. Oh well some people are just beyond help.

. Exactly, that is so wrong on every level. It should never have been allowed in the first place!!! Anyone who knows anything about unions know how hard they fought for decent wages and working conditions. AWS destroys that along with 2 tier workers.

Tell us some more lies! Really, You are either management or a Union Scab working with/for management. Nowhere in the 2007 agreement is there any such provision. It was in the 2009 modified agreement only to get thrown out in bankruptcy court a few months later. If you remember they declared bankruptcy a month after we ratified that and it was thrown out with "Old Car Company" and "New Car Company" was to utilize the existing 2007 agreement until it expired. The only thing that stuck was WCM which was mandated in order for us to receive loans post emergence from bankruptcy.
This whole contract is about eliminating overtime. Vote this in and your meaningless raise won't mean a thing. You will in fact be worse off. The threat of arbitration is nothing in comparison to losing overtime and being forced to rotate shifts. This is also a tool for them to more quickly error people out in the attendance procedure.

You guys are the ones that voted our wages for the t2..remember that..and you people almost lost your jobs..remember that..and if it wasnt for us making half your wages..You would lose your jobs for real this time..
I think everyone should take a look a sergio and his bullshit he is pulling on t1..and stop blaming t2 for all the crap t1 has pulled over the years. No need to response to this one..Because all that is gonna come out of your mouth is you represent old school union give me a break..you dont even have a clue about old school..educate yourself

And most of us know what in store for this contract..Some of us T2 people..Its the ones that came off the streets that don't know any better..So either way we are all gonna get screwed t1 and t2 we all our under the same contract..So maybe say some of the T2 dont have a clue..It has caused alot of friction..

Whatever T2 did nor didn't do, the fault is with the senior T1 people who didn't stop the Tier 2 plan in 2007.
Whether from ignorance or stupidity or blind faith or whatever, the T1 voted it in. The outcome is their responsibility. They need to face up to it. They need to stop being played for fools.
How can you claim to be union when you throw new hires to the wolves? Wake up people, this is getting serious.
