Hi everyone - this 52 year old bought an 08 G5 GT in Performance Red and I love it. I am in Victoria BC and here, and I'm sure everywhere, there is an epidemic of gas thefts from vehicles. I had an after market locking gas cap from Canadian Tire but that caused the check engine light to come and I had to limp home. Both GM dealers don't have the proper locking gas cap and say that it isn't even listed in GM's inventory yet. Does anyone know where I might possibly find one? TIA.

anyone having problems with the instrument panel lights not coming on at night? I have a 2007 G5 that I LOVE LOVE LOVE except for this one critical problem. I drove from Louisville to Bloomington IN one night with a totally dark instrument panel - headlights worked, dome light worked, radio lights worked, but noooooo instrument lights. boy, was THAT dark! the dealer can't duplicate it, either.

Check the trash can you threw the original cap in.

i test drove the Pontiac G5GT and thought it was peppy enough for city driving, but was not impressed with the vibration when the brakes were applied. What would cause that and how much of an issue would this be ongoing
