How difficult is it to replace the light bulbs on the climate control panel on a 06 Honda Pilot.

Help !!! I bought a brand new Honda Pilot Touring on December 2, 2010. It rained very hard for about 10days, then on december 20, 2011 the "check starter system" warning light came on, even I can start and drive my car alright.
I took the car in for service on December 22, 2011 and the technician did find water in the unit, the warning light went away after he dried it. After 7 days, the service technician and manager could not find the reason for the leak or duplicate the condition. They asked me if I am OK to take the car back and further observe to see if it will happen again. Since I really need a car to get around, I picked up the car on December 30, 2010. Even I have been driving it in the rain for 4 days, the light did not come on. I am still very worried. The dealer will not exchange it for a new car. Is it covered under the Lemon Law? What should I do?
I have a 2010 EXL and the System Starter indicator came on. I was only in heavy rain driving for an hour. How did they dry it and where is it located? I am out of my warrant period and I don't need to pay for something I could fix myself. Help

I have a 2006 Honda Pilot and had to replace the battery. Now the XM button on my radio is unresponsive. I had to unlock the radio when we turned the car back on. All the other buttons on the radio seems to be working fine. When you press the XM button nothing happens. I do pay for the XM service so I really need this feature to work! Can anyone help?
Can anyone answer this? Just got the same problem.

Don't know much about Sat radio, but perhaps you have to call XM and have them reset something with your account?

the defroster and vents stopped working. i can hear the heater blower blowing air, I just don't know where it is going. Cabin air filter has been replaced, and the indicator works as far as saying whether it is on defrost, vent, or feet? What to do?

We have a 2004 Honda Pilot and believe it has a transmission problem. Since we just replaced the transmission in our 2006 Odyssey we haven't taken the Pilot in for service yet. It wasn't until I described the noise the Pilot makes to the transmission place that we knew, for sure the Pilot may also be transmission. What are the odds? We bought Hondas so we would only repair normal wear and tear, not two transmissions at roughly 100k. Any thoughts?

Pilots aren't known for trans problems. Vans are. Have you maintained the Pilot transmission, ie, regular drain-and-refills, perhaps every 2-3 years? Or yearly if you do alot of driving in traffic.

Has anyone experienced blinking of the drive light on the transmission indicator? Sometimes wuile driving the vehicle, the "D",will begin to blink. Once I stop the car and turn off the vehicle and restart, the blinking stops. Later while moving it will come back on.
Yes, that was a third gear transmission sensor that needed replaced on our Pilot. It was not expensive to get it done.

2012 Honda Pilot- When cranking it does not start right away and the starter just grinds away. Any one else had this problem?
We have the sample problem. Bought a 2012 Honda Pilot touring last week and it sometimes doesn't start until the 4th try. Dealer replaced fuel pump and that didn't help. Took it in again and they didn't know what to do with it. We're waiting to hear from Honda. Have you had any luck getting it fixed?

I bought a new 2012 Pilot EX-L. I didn't even have it a week and brought it back for the same problem you are having. They replaced the starter relay and said that it is fixed. Apparently there is a problem with the Pilot and Oddessey with this new starting system they put in. There is supposed to be a computer software update coming out to fix the problem. Just picked it up today, so I wait and see if it happens again!

Grandson just bought a 2003 Honda Pilot early this week. Today, it just quit for awhile, and is now running but not normally. Wondering if the fuel pump is causing problems. Any thoughts?

Possibly, but without any codes to read, diagnosis will be tough.

Not difficult. Saved about $250. Would suggest that you change all the bulbs. 6 of them. Cost about $5 per bulb

I left the radio on while cleaning the '11 Pilot and drained the battery. I couldn't shift the gear out of Park to Neutral to push it out of the garage to jump it. Really?...Does the shifter rely on battery power to move? Should my car title be taken from me?!

There might be a manual overide for the shifter. Look thru your manual.

Low humming noise may be from noise cancellation system. Its on when radio is off. Mine properly diagnosed at dealer-replaced noise cancellation amplifier. No more low hum.

I have an 03 Pilot that I am pretty sure needs a new EGR valve, vtm and engine lights go on and off. Of course I missed the recall fix and haven't been in a financial position to do anything with till now. I see some online between 80 and 120, then the dealer quoted me 145 since it is now a kit. Before I had looked at it and it seemed that I could do myself. Any thoughts?
