I have a 2007 Honda Pilot and lost my owner's manual. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can change my cabin filter.

Thanks

Is anyone aware of a problem with the cloth seat in the 08 Pilot? Just water leaves a mark and my seats look terrible. I have not used anything yet to clean, they seem to have a coating which should repel liquid--ha--not working?
I purchased an 07 Honda Pilot with the cloth seats and yes, even water leaves a stain. I don't know what in the world to do, either. Have you gotten any answers. I am going to call 1 800 999 1009 tomorrow to see if they have an answer.

This is not make anyone look or seem dumb but I'm surprised that no one has ever thought of posting about buying a can of Scotchguard and spraying down the cloth interior of their vehicle(s).
Any and all liquids will leave a stain, even plain water. Because cloth seats are not entirely clean. Dust adheres to cloth, add water and there's your stain. Take your hand and slap the seat (like beating a rug), and you'll seat dust come up.
One solution is to vacuum your interior in an enclosed enviroment if possible or somewhere where there is little air movment. Use a hand brush and carpet cleaner as you would spot cleaning a rug one seat at a time. Vacuum excess water using a wet/dry vacuum. When done, to dry the interior, start vehicle, turn heat onto HI mode, open all windows with a 1 inch opening and close all doors and let alone for about 30-60 minutes. When dry, spray all cleaned cloth materials with scotchguard.
Repeat annually.

I have the same problem but now my drivers side door wont lock or open unless i do it manually. Anyone have any ideas?
It is the door lock actuators. That is the power that makes the lock go up and down. My husband has replaced two of mine already. The part is $55.

anyone get a burning smell when using the heater?
also if you have a grinding noise while driving at low speeds. its your emergency brake part of the rear rotors. drive with your emergency brakes on for a while or get your emergency brake part ( not same as regular part of rotor) of the rotor cut.

I have a 2006 Pilot & noticed the front wheels slip more on wet pavement than any other car I have owned. The tires are original, in good shape & inflated properly. Has anyone else noticed this?

My 04 pilot has had trouble starting twice -once because I drained the battery with the interior lights one night and once again after that- Yesterday, it was very hard to start and took a while and alot of sputttering to turnover. Once it did, the VTM-4 indicator light and the system malfunction indicator light came on and stayed on. Once the car was running it seemded ok but the temp guage did not register anything even after a half hour drive. I parked it overnight and today it will barely start. Lots of sputtering. I also just hit 60k miles. Taking it to a dealer involves a ferry ride and an hour drive so I don;t want to really mess things up by driving it long way. Any ideas??

I have a 2003 Pilot, about a year ago I started experiencing the following.
The Pilot would not start. It would just click as if the starter silnoid was bad, or sometimes it would not even click as if the battery was dead. I had battery and alternator tested and both checked ok. I replaced the battery terminals clamps and it seemed that problem was solved, but 2 months later the same problem habppen again. A simple boost and the Pilot started and continued to start for another 3 to 4 months and problem occured again. Had battery and Alternator checked and both checked ok. Has anybody experenced this?
I have had the very same thing happen to a 2007 Pilot and right before warranty expired a dealer replaced the battery, saying it had a dead cell, but 3 months later it happened again and your correct in saying a jump start will fix it, but who knows for how long?

The 2nd issue sounds similar to something I have noticed on our 08 pilot. we discovered it was an issue w/ the air conditioner. I found a lot of these service people do not really know what they are doing unless you hold their hand be as specific as possible i.e. tell them where to look.
Rob,
Four months after my initial comment and the matter still is not taken care of. But I'm curious. What was the issue with the a/c? If I'm armed with that information, maybe I can suggest that to the dealership.

Back in September, I posted the following. Since we have new readers, I thought I'd repost my comment to see if anyone might have any ideas. My previous comment to Rob was in regard to his suggestion as to what might be the cause:
Two worsening symptoms, starting 2-3 years ago in my '03 Pilot:#1) The ENTIRE vehicle vibrates, sometime violently. It's random with inconsistent occurance.#2) Not always connected to the vibration is a whirring sound that seems to be coming from the left side of the dashboard when the windows are closed but if I have the window down and can get a better listen while driving slowly, I can definitely hear that it's coming from the underside and sounds like vibrating metal.(catalytic converter cover???)

I have taken it back to the dealer 3 times with no success. When it's taken out for a test drive, my Pilot won't act up (sort of like when a toothache stops hurting when you go to the dentist).
I don't know if the two issues are related; they do not occur simultaneously but it does seem that after the whirring sound occurs several times, the car will vibrate. That isn't always true but in trying to find some sort of relationship between the whirring and the vibration, this is about the only thing I can determine and even that isn't consistent.

I just had my transmission replaced after experiencing the same problem. The problem became so bad that the check engine light finally came on and the car wouldn't shift any more. My car has 101,000 miles on it.

I just purchased a 2006 Honda Pilot EX w/ 30K miles. On the second day after purchase I notices a "grinding" sound whenever I turned the wheel either when the vehicle was NOT moving or traveling below 15 mph. Any suggestions/similar problems. Other than contacting the dealer (which I will), what is the reason/solution. Thanks for the help.

Has anyone found a solution to stop the buzzing in the rear speaker and head phones? I have three kids and watching dvds is not an option for them anymore with sound.
I have the same problem with rear speaker and headphones. The buzzing has become more regular, and the only way I have been able to stop it is by setting the rear entertainment system to AUX, but that means we can't use the DVD player or get sound from any of the back speakers.

Any help would be much appreciated!
