The windshield wipers are stuck in the up position. I've tried leaving them in the on position when I turn off the van, thinking it will reset them but no dice. I've switched them off while they're working and they just go back to the "touchdown" stance... any suggestions? It's just irritating....thanks.

I had this problem with my 2000 Venture and watched You-Tube videos and read a ton of comments on line. One of the suggestions was to replace the Wiper Pulse Board/Control Module, which I did. That was the problem, good as new. It is a Dorman part, which I got thru amazon. I realize my comment is not timely, but I am posting it so that hopefully it helps someone else. The cost was under $40. The mechanic wanted over $500 to replace the entire switch. Today is 1-12-14.

I have a 2002 Chevy Ventura Van and the passenger side wiper stays up about 1/4 of the way and the drivers side is all the way down in the off position. When I turn the wipers on, the drivers side slams the seating frame and if in delay motion, drivers side stops in the middle of the windshield blocking my view. What is the problem? I've tried everything.. But obviously not the right thing. Help??
