I have checked the fuse. It is not blown. Any idea if this is fixable without taking to the dealership?

Don't know if you rec'd a recall notice for the wipers, but we did a few months ago. Our problem was that they wouldn't shut off! We did have to take it to the dealer, but no charge since it was a recall.

It could be a faulty switch or possibly a defective wiper motor. Wiper motors seem to be notorious problems on GM vehicles. What happens is moisture works its way into the wiper module which is mounted to the motor and eventually will short out both parts. I had a 99 Monte Carlo that went through 3 wiper motors.

I just purchased a 2002 Trailblazer. The wipers sometimes hesitate halfway through its motion, like it is snagging on something. It only does this occasionally. I do have the rainsense system. Anyone else seen this? Ideas? thanks!

John from WA & Mark from BD (or anyone else), how did you guys ever fix your windshield wiper problem? According to Chevy, the recall on the system had nothing to do with it. Did you replace the motor? If so, did you do it or take it to be done?

the wiring under the hood for the windshield wipers seems to be missing a piece so that one side of the wiring is not connected to the other side, windshield wipers move but the fluid does not come out of both ends. is this something that i could fix myself? it's a 2002 honda civic ex

A friend of mine had the wipers going and the snow from top of car fell on them as they were going up and pushed them down. they no longer work, the fuse is good and relay is good, could the motor have been burnt up?
