I have a 2002 trailblazer. I went through 4 batteries in less than a year. One morning nothing worked and the battery was drained. After replacing it in Feb. 08 it ran from for about7 months and then it started again. I took it to a dealership and at this point it appears to be a cluster issue. Not sure what that is, but evidently they had another vehicle that was having similarissues that involved the HVAC system. I thought it was all related to the digital upgrade from onstar but I guess not.

I have a 2003 trailblazer. At random times, usually when the car is off, the front and rear parking lights flicker on and off. You can also hear it when you are in the car. My mechanic has no idea what it is, and without dropping over $1000, i can't get it diagnosed.

any help?

The cluster didn't work. I got a new on star module. So far so good. I always maintained that on star was the problem

Air/Heater lights on dash to control passenger temp has gone out too. When speakers are not working the low gas chime and door chimes don't work. Got any ideas?
I am having this exact same problem, did you find an answer?

My wife has a 2002 trailblazer and last night the amber front lights and the taillights stayed on until I discon the battery. This morning I re hooked the battery and the lights stay on the parking lights not the headlights. I am going nuts trying to fix this. oh when i turn the parking lights on at the headlamp switch I can hear the relay click. I pulled the relay but the lights stayed on, I even took out the headlight switch unplugged it and the lights still stayed on. can anyone help me with this?

Have the exact same issue. Driver side speaker
works intermittently.

Noticed that the following also did not work when the peaker did not work:
Running Light Chime for on/off operation
Low Fuel Indicator chime
Turn Signal Chime for staying on too long.

When all these functions worked the speaker worked.

Also noticed that only when the outside tempurate was 90 degrees or better and the car would set in the sun at these temps the speaker and the chimes worked immediately.

Have you found a fix?

I have the same problem. Changed the cluster with a salvage yard unit, didn't fix it. Changed the light switch and that didn't fix either. Did you ever find a fix?

I have an 02 trailblazer and it won't start. I put the key in and turn it and nothing happens. The lights, radio, gauges, etc. all engage but the truck won't crank or may any type of sound. Checked the PCM fuse (15) and it had blown. Changed that fuse and it started up but then it shut off and I found that the PCM fuse had blown again. I a stronger fuse (20) and it started. I'm not sure how long it will last. I have checked the starter and had it tested. It was fine. Was told by the dealer that it could be the crank sensor. Anyone have any idea what is happening to my trailblazer???? HELP!!!!

Can someone tell me how to change the brake light
switch or point me to some instructions. Brake lights quit working and the fuses are ok, now we
think it is the BLS. Much appreciate!

ARGH! Have this wonderful 2002 Trailblazer which presented virtually no problems til now. My lights, rear go out one by one. I put new bulbs in and the other side goes out. Then the right headlight (low beam), a week later, the left low beam went out. I changed them all out and now the driver's side signal is having a nervous breakdown on the dash and the rear one doesn't work at all. The backup lights have quit. Someone said it was a wiring harness which would cost me around $100 to check. Does anyone know how I can do this myself? I have checked all fuses.

Tonight my daughter, who is driving my car, said the vehicle makes a noise when she turns left. Good Lord! It has almost 100,000 miles on it, ready for a transmission fluid change out and an oil change. What could be going on?

This is my very last car, as I'm 62 and don't want another car payment in my life. I bought it new.

I hope you got to change it by now, but in the future, open the tailgate, then using a phillips screw driver, remove the screws from the light cover and remove the cover. You will see where the lights go in. When you buy lights, get some of the moisture prevention gel and put that on the light connection first. Trailblazers get a lot of moisture in the lights for some reason. Then reconnect the cover and screw the assembly back on. There ya go. As for the overhead one, I dunno. But any good auto parts store would be happy to teach you to replace it and even replace it for you.

Steve do you know when this was recalled? I checked all the recall notices and bulletins and found nothing.

I have a 02 Trailblazer that a few days ago the air conditing pump started to make a noise but was just enough that i could hear it while sitting still. Each time i drive it it has become excessively worse and getting very loud. It makes a knocking sound at all times doesn't matter if you are in park or drive it makes the same sound. It also makes the same noise with the whole heating system turned off. How do i make this noise go away without having to replace the whole air conditioning unit????????
