Wife was driving blazer into work, had the cruise on, blazer started jerking, she stepped on the gas after turning the cruise off, very little power, she had the blazer towed home, after 5 hours of sitting, I fired it up, idles great, but still can't the tach over 3000 rpm, I took it out for a test drive, stomped on the gas, it just bogged down. Any Ideas.

You have drive by wire (no throttle cable) If the demand sensor (gas peddle) goes bad the truck will default to "limp in mode". This is safety mode.

I'm a ASE Master Tech and a auto instructor. Only for the last 35 years..haha

I can help you as much I can, I need a transplant to live.

would it throw a check engine light on for the bad pedal sensor?

Maybe these trucks don;t follow all the OBD II rules but there would be a code stored in the engine computer.

I have a 2004 Trailblazer that is sputtering. It feels like the gears and not changing, but they do the rpm is between 1-2 like it should. It seem to me like a fuel issue. When I start driving and try to pick up speed it putt up like it want to cut off. So I back off the gas and press it again and the putting is not as bad and then it ok as long as I am driving with out stopping. Once stop it will be ok depending on how long you stop for at a light it will start putting like it once to cut off. I usually press the gas a little bit and it stop. The Code P0410 when i took it to auto zone. I just had the cam shift replace and a relay put on the second air filter pump a week ago. Please help! Taking it back to the shop today. Trying to get a heads up on what it might be.
