i am khalid zwai , from libya . i bougth the Trailbszera chevy fro 3 years ago. it was work as well , but before 2 weeks there is some mechaanical prsone try to change the oil, but he was tide the oil filtr aand the oil are lakege.
anywhere the error Nu P1345 have soon , and it will never declear. can any one give me the solution for this proplem .

Can anyone help me? I have a 1996 GMC Yukon and my transmission gets stuck at 20MPH. The RPM's skyrocket and its like it has trouble shifting into the next gear. If I let up off the gas for a second then give it gas again its like it snaps into the gear it was trying to get into and runs fine thereafter. My service Engine light is on and so i took it to autozone to get a code check. i got a code back of 1345 ingnition misfire. everyone says to replce the sylanoid and turn the distributor. but they also say this has nothing to do with the transmission issue. Does anyone knows whats going on with the transmission. autozone sells two transmission sensors one for 65.00 and for 130.00. could it be one of these sensors and if so how can i narrow it down to which one?

YES I HAVE A 2002 TRAILBLAZER IT STARTED RUNNING ROUGH. THEY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON PLUS REDUCED POWER LIGHT. SOUNDS LIKE A VERY BAD SKIP.ANYONE WITH ANY IDEAS. THE WATER AND OIL WAS NORML

I need help figuring out trouble code 1345 on a 1998 Chevy 5.7. I put a new distributor in it 8 months ago and it ran fine.Last week while driving it just stopped running now all it does is turn over.I put a timing light on it and the light doesn't work,brand new light.I'm hoping Crank sensor bad?Will it just stall if it were bad?Any help appreciated

Check the crank shaft sensor. if this is bad it will not start. otherwise maybe the timing chain.

pull the cap, sounds like the rotor came loose, you can test by putting the timing light on the coil wire, if it flashes there but not on the plug wire it proves the rotor is bad(or broken off) You can also set the distributor sync with a quality scan tool, the distributor doesn't control timing on that model, but needs to be 'timed' or synced so the rotor is pointing at the correct tower when firing. it will tolerate some error but exceed that and you get a code(and possible poor performance or worse if it is far enough out)

I had the same problem with my 98 5.7L. It ended up being a broken distributor gear. Easy fix, but two weeks later shelled the motor due to all of the broken peices of the old gear...

p1345 is a cam shaft to crankshaft corrlation fault. Your cam and crank sensors arent getting along in these OBD2 engines they need to agreeing at the same time. check your timing, pressure check your cylinders to check for a streched timing chain.

P1345. enjoyed reading the post . Think I will move the distrib a lil see what happens. Not the first barbeque for the 2000 suburban I am working on. The cps wires have duck tape all over them. I also have no dash lights. I believe the printed circuit is grounded. Any one ever have trouble with this

got a 02 trailblazer with same problem p1345 been this way for about 2 years , it does not get any better now my cruise control quit working and 4x4 quit working got to love technolage if anyone has found a fix love to hear from you

4x4 failure, my 02 TB 4wd did not engage a few weeks ago, first time since last winter, no lights showing which mode you had selected, read on alldata that sometimes the controling module needs to wake up, took to a trusted dealer, and eventually re-programmed the module to wake it up, and all is well again,($79. for the diag & programming )

I get code 1345 too. I replaced the cam sensor but I still get the code. However i don't notice any performance issues. The car idles fine, runs fine, and gas mileage and pickup all seem normal. Should I replace the crank sensor? Any other ideas? The light's been coming off an on for about 12-14 months now.
