Mine will work IF the drivers seat is unplugged. There are three orange wires in a plug uder the drivers seat, two of them are hot (have power) all the time one of them is dim when the locks don't work, as soon as they both are bright on the test light the locks work, as long as that plug is unplugged. So as long as I don't want move my seat my door locks work. Go Figure....

The problem is a intermittent short in the drivers seat. When the short is active, the automatic resetting circuit breaker opens and cuts power to the locks and seat. When the short is not active like when no one is on the seat, the c/b resets and power is restored. I found one of the orange wires on my seat shorted and I believe there is a GM SB on this issue. By unplugging the seat you are removing the power from it and preventing the c/b from opening due to the short.
