This past week my truck has been hesitant to start, but the problem is intermittent. Sometimes it pops right off, other times it needs to crank for 7-8 seconds before starting.
Fuel filter, maybe? Truck runs fine otherwise, no noticeable lack of power once started. 125K miles. |

I would think the battery is going bad, or low fuel pressure (clogged fuel filter/lines or fuel pump going bad).

It was the fuel pressure regulator! When replacing, don't forget to OPEN YOUR GAS CAP. I got a face full of gas, even after I thought I had all the pressure bled off via the service valve. |
