I used my truck Christmas day work fine. Today I turn the key and nothing happens. No crank nothing?
I don't understand what it could be. I tried to jump it with my other car, and nothing it's dead.
Any Ideas where to start?

Same thing is happening to me All i hear is the starter relay click one time and then nothing.

Did you find out what your problem is ? Nothing is dead on mine. Volt meter says 12+ volts on battery. The starter itself is not clicking.

Thoughts?

Just had the same thing happen to me. The starter relay was stuck. A little bang with a hammer got it working again. Will need to replace, but not a big deal. Just hard to get to under the frame.

Have a 2002 Silverado 4.3L. Will turn over but will not continue to run. Have replaced the Plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, Map sensor, ECM and MAF sensor. Still having same problem. Wondering if it could be the Fuel Pump, but was told that if the Pump is bad then I would not be getting fuel at all and it would not even turn over. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I am in the process of replacing the Fuel Pump. It was only showing 30 psi in the line. Will let you know if this solves the problem.

I had a problem with mine starting hard and had low psi in the line it ended up being the fuel pressure regulator

Try the didtributor cap, moisture getting in and corroding the the 6 points in the cap, white corrosive. Not moisture from the AC but a factory defect distributor.

I have a 2002 chevy with a 4.3 that always starts hard on damp days. I take the doghouse off and start hitting all the electrical stuff with heat. I refuse to take it in anymore because once they pull it in the garage it heats the moisture out and they charge me for all the same things you read in here. The fuel filter & pump, cap & rotor & whatever else. They think it's cured but it always comes back to haunt. I'm almost positive it has something to do with moisture and electrical connection. I'm still on the hunt for the real problem. It has 135 thousand miles on it so I figure things get corroded over the years. The battery and starter have been changed also. Don't bother calling GM's complaint line. They won't tell you a thing and just want to steer you into a dealer. It runs great after I get it started and starts fine after the first start also.

I have a 2002 silverado v6 turns over but won't start. I can hear the fuel pump, and checked the pressure. It shows around 25/30 psi, and when I pour gas in the throttle body its starts up. I also checked and have lots of fuel on both sides of the fuel filter. Not sure where to go next??? Any suggestions??

take a hair dryer to the cap and rotor, and heat it up ,that should do it if you need to start it but not to close, I believe the vent holes in the distibutor are the culprit.

I'm having exactly the same problem as everyone above. 2002, 5.3 with 140,000 miles. Won't start on cold mornings. In New Orleans area so it's only about once a week or so in the winter, but it happens on every cold morning, or in the evening if it's a cold day. I use a blow dryer on the electrical control panel under the hood. It has worked every time. I'm not sure why or what I'm heating up. Maybe a mechanic can figure it out. But don't change your fuel pump, filter etc.. if you are experiencing these same won't start problems. You'll be wasting your time and money. There is some glitch somewhere caused by cold temperature. I don't think it is moisture or any fuel system problem.
