Additionally, in my "Easter Egg Hunt" for the right part, I raelized that GM had used some version of this on a lot of their equipment in this application but the actual module came in a bewildering variety of forms and shapes. My advice is to take the old one with you when you go buy the new one to make sure it matches.

I have a 2005 gmc yukon and my blower works on 1, 2, and 3 but will not blow on 4 and 5, do i need to replace the blower or some relay.

Its not the relay einstein.. The resistor is under a cover on the pasenger side. Many times the harness is fried along with the resistor. 10 min repair $64.95 at advance aout parts

Yes, they all came out with day-time running lights, there is a relay under the dash that has gone out.

I have a 2006 HD Silverado and the power seats and right side power windows quit working. Changed both breakers under the dash and they still don't work. Check for voltage in the fuze block and there isn't any with or without the engine running. any suggestions?

I have pulled the fuse but the problem continues do I need to recharge the battrey or can I just jump it.

I am having the same problem with my new battery going dead after a day of sitting with my 03' Silverado. I have read on other posts that a CD left in the player may not allow the BCM to go to sleep properly and can cause a battery drain. Remove the CD if one is in there and see if the problem is eleminated. It could also be a power/heated seat issue or a small light being left on in the topper or other remote area. Good luck!

Take door apart, per a manual for the 96-99 series of GM trucks, I replaced the motor in mine (ok roomate did) and it works fine now

I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and my battery will drain completely after 3 or 4 days. Since I travel frequently this is a problem when I park at the airport. I recently walked in to the garage with the lights out and I saw the odometer lights were on but it was only showing squares not the actual numbers. I assume this has something to do with the battery issue.

Anyone seen or heard of this?

When driving my 99 Silverado, we hear a noise from the right frt area that sounds like a actuator. Almost like the door is trying to lock/unlock itself. After listening for about a 1/2hr. I realized that it sounds like it's coming from further upfront. After we got home I opened the door and saw there was a cover on the side of the dash, and took that off. It appears that there are several relay's there. Anyone ever heard of this happening? Does not appear to be any problems...YET!!!!

I have a 95 C 1500. Alternator puts out 14.44 volts, reading at battery is 14.40. Turn on lights and volt gage goes down. Alternator reads 14.39, reading at battery is 14.35. Turn on blower fan and lights volt gage really drops. Alternator reads 14.35, reading at battery is 14.02. New battery, parts store checked alternator said it was good. Kid pulled stereo out just before problem started. Didn't find any bare wires. Pulled stereo fuses, made no difference. Any guesses?

Same here for a 2001 silverado...I've ordered switch and installed to no avail...fuses have been checked are fine...anyone have any answers
