Hi, My s10 as listed starts hard about 95% of the time in any temp above 30 degress. However when its below 30 degress it will crank and crank but will not fire??? I'v changed the fuel filter, new oil, new air filter, new plugs and ohm out the injectors all have same reading. I havent checked fuel pressure but i can hear the fuel pump come on when the key is in the run positon. Thanks for the help

Ive also managed to clean out the throttle body with some carb cleaner, and checked all the fuel injectors as well.

I also have the same problem, but at around 15F. I've changed out the ignition control module, fuel pump, fuel filter. Still no luck, if you had any success pass it along

Is it possible that the computer thinks it is warm outside because the air intake sensor is faulty making it think it is warmer and not enriching the mixture like it should?

same problem. i have a 95 S10 with only 99,000 miles on it. have had trouble starting it after it sits for the last 8 months. was okay in the summer and fall, but now that the winter is here i cant get it to start without using starting fluid. i had 2 mechanics look at it and they said i needed a new spider. this has already been changed twice on this truck in the past. so my dad did it again and im still having my problem. anyone know what else it could be? i changed the gas filter less than a year ago as well.

Just got back home 10 minutes ago from the repair shop. They put in a new fuel pressure regulator and new fuel injectors. Started first try and runs great! They said if it still has problems restarting in the future, they would change out the fuel pump.

I have the same problem with mine, but doesn't seem to matter what temperature it is. Once started it runs smooth as ever. Does seem worse when I go a couple days without starting.

I'm having the same problem. it started about a month ago. an was wondering if it had anything to do with back pressure with my exhaust because i changed it. i also changed the spark plugs and fuel filter too. Also wondering if it might be frozen water in the gas line. but i have been putting HEET in every time i fill it.
