2003 S-10 not starting after rebuild

My son has a 03 2.2L s-10 that overheated, cracked the head and the radiator. We have rebuilt the engine including new head, radiator, starter, battery, but now the engine only cranks and runs a few seconds then shuts off as if it ran out of fuel. Also the radio is no longer working and the temp gauge is not working. Seems there is a electrical problem, but where do you start?

Just checked chassie grds, and also notice the odometer, park drive neutral eletronic readouts are not working.

Something is not plugged in correctly, or possibly loose or not connected. You will need to trace the connections from the firewall to the engine. Also make sure your injectors are plugged in good. You might need to check to make sure your fuel pump is working as well.
