looking for 499.00

posi 250.00
gears are original gm set-up
bearings 100.00

junkyard prices are 400.00 and up for zr2 stuff...sometimes you can sneak one by them if they do not keep up with the times...but do not count on that much.

This is a GM performance posi not the Gov lok that are only good at low rpm speeds ...Anything with super quick torque build will tear a gov lok up fast... because they lok and unlock and are usually for slippery ice snow and mud applications not high performance . The unit that I installed into this ZR2 s-10 truck rear is a SS impala type 30 spline heavy duty unit. Works all the time...NO on and off. JUST ON.

Is this posi appropriate for towing applicaiton in a 98 suburban? If so, I'm interested. I want something that will handle the load of towing well but with out sacrificing daily drivability and smooth turhing.

This is a S-10 HD ZR2 rear not a full size truck rear. The posi will handle it but the housing will not bolt into your truck.

I have other posi units if all you need is a positraction. Why do you need a posi if all you are doing is towing? just use the open diff it will more than do the job as long as you are not towing out of a lake or in the mountains of road. Ok? Jim J D Race

Look on EBAY. I have a unit that is from a full size truck that will work in yours. check my ebay caller name at monzaz look for items listed and you will fit it. Jim

The S-10 4x4 came with a 59" Is that what this one is set up at?
The 2WD is 54.5" and that is actually what I am looking for. I am going to put it into a 45 Chevy truck

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
