it just put a new temp sensor in my 94 gmc 350. the temp guage will still bounce off hot then go to cold when you start it up. anyone have any ideas of what else it could be?

Change the sensor on the side of the head on the drivers side and the sensor on the intake manifold and you might want to look into you oxygen sensor or possibly the map sensor or even both especially if the Check Engine Light turns on. I changed the Oxygen sensor and it improved the running of the motor by alot.

I have a 1994 5.7 chevy c1500 and have been having some of the same problems mentioned previously. At idle, the truck runs a little rough, but once it gets going, its fine. Also, it has been fouling up a lot of spark plugs recently. This may be because I just used a motorvac on it and the crap from the engine is stickin to the plugs, but idk. has anyone else had this problem?

My 94 Chevy runs fine in park but as soon as I put it in gear it struggles to stay running and once I do finally get going it will die at stops fresh tune up already done any thoughts

sounds like the convertor is stopping up cut it off sell for scrap have a garage weld you a pipe in its place dont let them cut the o2 cesor off with it you should walk with about 50 bucks in your pocket and have the problem fixed

I have a 1994 Chevy z71 W 5.7 liter TBI I replaced the iac valve due to surging now it won't idle down from 2200 rpms any input, I repaired vacuum leaks & pigtail

i have a 94 put a brand new trans in it drove it 15 foot shut it off i ran out of fuel put more fuel, in it hasnt ran since. Replaced coil, distributor,fuel pump, fuel pump relay,iak knock sensor,oil pressure sending unit emc, still wont run its in time but backfires spits and sputters through carb tbi could i have slipped time?

I got a 94 suburban. I changed the injectors fuel pressure reg both coolant sensors idle air control valve fuel filter new exhaust and it surges at lower rpms. it surges so back i have to floor board it to come out of it. any ideas?

There are two. One on top of the intake by the t-stat housing and the other one is on the left side of the head between #1 and #3 cylinder.

The stalling is due to the TPS sensor, the tep sensor controls the feul mixture. Start the truck and unplug the temp sensor, if the motor does not surge, you have a bad temp sensor.

My 1994 Z71 would die after it heated up when i came to a stop, the TPS sensor fixed the issue, the truck still felt like it lost a little power when it heated up, i changed the temp sensor and it cleared up. It also fixed the overdrive issue i had.

ive got a 94 chevy silverado with the 5.7 350 engine, auto trans. i used to have a miss while driving from 45mph to 60mph, but i replaced the distrib.cap and spark plugs. it drove good for a week then it started to have a even worse miss. and when i stop in drive and im idiling, it sounds like its gonna die out but it shakes too. i dont wanna spend my money on things that wont help get rid of the miss. Can anyone help me?

i have a 94 5.7 gmc having problems with surging, lack of power,bad mpg,rough idle changed plugs , wires, cap, cat. converter o2,thinking maybe timing but cant find the timing connecter any ideas? thanks

I have a 94 chevy 1500 5.7 liter. Starts and idles fine, but when I give it gas it revs up to 3000rpm the first time and after that will sputter at 1200-2000rpm and fall till it almost dies. Ive changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor, spark plug wires, and air filter. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?
