AP source: GM to build small car in Michigan

how much $$$$ will it cost GM to retool the plant in Michigan? I believe the costs will be in the 100 millions. Didn't they retool Spring Hill already, wouldn't it be cheaper to make the small cars there? I hope our President looks into this decision as we have given GM bail out money and this doesn't seem like a sound financial decision at all... they should open up their books to the public so that we can see the overall spend impact.

Maybe GM should sell the spring Hill plant to the new Saturn and Penzke so they can build the new Saturn in Tenn and use the same parts manufactorers and match the #1 or #2 in quality like they did in the first few years it existed.
