What type of AWD system is in the Chevy Express van? Is it the same as found on Suburbans? I am trying to get more info on it. I want to know if it transfers power to wheel that is not moving. We want to buy a bunch of these for a new safari type van in Hawaii - but having problems getting answers. Some of the roads have some mud, etc.

I heard it is a center differential system with a viscous coupling attached (integrated into the differential). The denalli has a system like that so I can easily believe it.
