That is a shame the museum is closing down, and especially that the historical content will be sold. I went to the museum in Ca in 1976 with my family and again after it arrived in Branson. Hopefully the contents can be sold to one buyer, with the intent of placing them in another museum. I hope Trigger and Bullet don't end up in a private residence or worse yet in the landfill.

It is a shame I heard it on the news this am. Broke my heart. I can't imagine the family letting Trigger and Bullet leaving the family.

It is indeed a shame and a loss for not only Branson but for the many Roy Rogers fans still out here, of all ages.

Im sorry to hear the news about the museum, little boys have missed out on a era that made America Great, I am 60 years old and Roy was my hero. The arm of my Mon's old couch was trigger. I helped Roy to tame the West. I had a gun and holster around me the first time I went to the doctor. I was about five. The doctor eas going to give me a shot in the arm when I grabed the barrel of my pistol and hit him on the head. I had seen Roy do this. Gosh! I didn't want to shoot him. My Dad could't believe what I did. Good times gone bye. We love you Roy and Dale.

Dusty Rogers is every bit his father's son. I hope he can find a way to get through these hard times without dissolving his father's museum - once that collection is auctioned away (and I really dont see the collection remaining intact if that happens), we will lose a true national treasure.
