Mine has only 3350 miles and got the service light along with engine light, however, no such symptoms. I am taking in for service tomorrow.

My stabilitrack light warning light keeps coming on as well as my oil change light. I just changed the oil 3 weeks ago and it looks fine, and will not reset?

Lots of problems with the censors .All kind of lights come on from tire pressure to stabilizer.Taken to dealer several times because of light flashing always different reason...If I have my car jump started it blows a fuse DA DA .Now I was told that when I change my tires I have to change all four at the same time. What is with this???

My service stabiltrak light is on and the ABS light along with the slippery road light I took it in the parts store and they put it on the monitor . The gentle men reports that the front passenger speed sensor needs to be replaced . Anyone know what this is and the cost.

ABS sensor determines if the wheel is turning, on slippery road stabilitrak should sense the wheel 'slipping' on the road (rotating faster than the others or the speed value from transmission comparison), it uses the ABS sensor to gauge this, so I would say they are linked. The sensors are basically a magnet that changes field strength with metal distance/detection, usually a gear or notches on shaft (on, off, on, off as it passes the metal, no metal areas). The last sensor I bought was around $70, easy to replace. Could be a broken wire (intermittent open) to the sensor also. One screw usually holds them in, location on back side of spindle, behind rotors.
Looks like about same price today, YMMV: Example: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/carquest-b...

I also have a 2011 equinox LT and the stabil track light, ABS light and traction control light is on. was told this was due to a wheel bearing needing replaced. We do the work ourselves and the bearing had definitely been hot. The part was replaced and the lights are still on because we haven't had it reset yet because it was just done. But now the car doesn't always start and the message service power steering is on. Whats up with that?
