<quoted text>No one ever listens to what Obama says. He said he gave them the money because it would have damaged the economy too much at the same time of the financial institutional failures. He admitted he was delaying the inevitable. The only way they will make it is to off load all the pensions and healthcare off on the taxpayer. And that will collapse the dollar and the government. This whole country is in terrible trouble unless spending comes to a screeching halt by the government.
only other real option other than print money to beat heck(which like you said would make our dollar worth a lot less) is to tax to beat heck(which no one in favor of) plus you think the economy bad now you add a 10% tax(guessing percent) you'll see places closing doors left and right.

They won't reopen any USA plants. How can the big wheels keep those nice profits if they reopen in the USA? All these companies say they must move to stay competitive but do you see their product at competitive, cheaper price? Made in USA and sold for $35,000,made in Mexico(cheap labor) sold in USA for $35,000. Now....you tell me where is the $$$$$$going to? When are you BASHING Americans going to wake up?

<quoted text>THere has been no "need" for unions for years.
Unions are a dinosaur that should have gone extinct with the rest of them.
Since the unions have disappeared, the taxpayers have had to pick up a lot more of the cost of retirees healthcare.

You may not like unions, but they did build good pensions with healthcare into employees salaries.

exactly do you think a Mexican car worker makes about 2 bucks an hour. No retirement to pay into, No benefits to pay into, no Union to deal with and No OSHA to deal with.
VS by the time you factory in all those cost of american autoworker you(the retirement, benefits, wages) you are at 60-70 dollars a hour.

they also built it into the price of every car that kept rising. Look into the price breakdown on a vehicle from conception to dealership...see for yourself how the cost of the unions has hurt us
