We are having problems getting into the back side of the headlight to change a bulb. Can anyone tell us how to get into the backside? We even tried removing the battery box for access. Thanks.

Read the owners manual and it gives exact description of how to get in the back side. Tedious, but doable! You have to take the 7 or 8 black tap screws out and then pop out the molding. There are three screws that hold the light in place and once you take those out it pops right out for easy access.(Caution: When you detach the molding be careful- once you release the headlight the part of the molding that pops back in will scratch the headlights, so be careful to put a towel or rag over it while you are working so not to damage the headlight.)

right is correct. I took my 2:01 for economics to the Chevrolet dealer because I had a headlight out. They told me it would take 2 hours because they had to pull the whole front of the car off. I said no I didn't have time I went home I looked it up saw what Ray said. I took a T-20 star took off the excess round cover in the wheel well counterclockwise turn on the light cover pull the bulb out counterclockwise changed it myself. I am 67 year old female with bad knees. If I can do it why can't my Chevrolet dealer do it? Shame on you Chevrolet. Is this just another racket?

There is NO access cover in the wheel wells on the 2014 Equinox. So what's the solution there?
