I'm thinking of buying a 2005 Lt AWD at local dealer come Mon morning. It has 44,200 miles on it and was a local 1 owner vehicle. My question is this, is it a reliable vehicle, and does it go good in the snow? I got dealer down to $10,000.00 instead of $13,500. Was there any recalls also on this model? Thanks for the help!!!

I have had a chevy equinox (2006) since september of 2005. I believe since i have had the suv it has been making a mind-blowing noise from the rear wheels whenever the All-wheel drive engages!!! It sounds like a loud grinding noise almost as if the abs are stuck on! Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any chevy acknowledgments on this or recalls?
