My 06 corvette will not start after just a few days of sitting. My dealer replaced the battery but that did not help. Something seems to be draining the battery. Anyone else with this problem and a fix?

Anyone else with this problem and a fix? I have a 2005 C06...same problem. In fact, last season, I drove it daily...never a problem. I then left it in garage for 5 weeks before winter....didn't start...no electrical. Had it towed and tested and replaced with new battery. Took it out the following week, electric ok, gauge indicator good. 7 days later, same problem...no electrical...even a boost didn't work....now back in the shop. Still unclear where the problem lies.

I have 2005 conv. corvette. Car did not start 10 days after i bought it in Oct /05. Boosted battery several times, then dealer finally replaced battery in August /06. Parked car for 4 months, and battery was completely dead. Currently in shop being tested?

I have a 2005 coupe that can not sit for more than 3 weeks without having a dead battery. As long as I run it every couple weeks it is fine.

I have the smae battery problem. in fact its happening right now. no charge. jumper will not help at all. any ideas other that a new battery?

YES......I am waiting for the tow truck right now!!!! This will make the 6th time!!! I am going to be writing a letter to GM about the lemon law... Don't know if it will help, but I am soooo over this! The service manager tells me that I just need to drive it more. Excuse me, since when do you buy a $70K car that HAS to be driven into to ground just to keep it running!

02 Z06, daily driver, 19000 miles, new battery. Every once in a while I turn the key and it's like a dead battery or the clutch isn't to the floor. After a few tries it starts but yesterday it took about 20 tries. If I take it to the dealer they will have it a week, charge me a fortune and find nothing wrong. Any hints?

I The battery died when I took delivery of a new Vette base coupe in July 07.I drove it until November when it died again in a parking lot as I was listening to the radio with the engine off. The dealer recharged it,telling me there were no electrical issues with the Corvette.The car was not driven for five weeks and the battery was dead.I recharged it and put a trickle charger on it.The battery held a charge until early April/08 when it gave out entirely.The dealer replaced the battery.So far so good.
