1963 chevy c-10 stepside long bed

i have a well do i need to say it again?

it has rust damage in the cab corners and along the passenger door jam.. any tips?

the over all conditon is good the engine is a L6 235 (3.9L) and the tranny is pretty good in its self but the column lives up to its notorious name of the column sticking up so i want to transfer the shifter to a floor shifter 4 spd

any help tips?

check LMC for body parts. For the shifter look at Jegs or Summit Racing.

try takin the affected body parts to a local shop and get them to cut out the rust spots and patch them up with new sheet metal- they make floor shifters for the 63

i had the same problem with my 63 c-10 i just cut and replaced its the easiest way to go and with the trany i just put a turbo 350 and a b&m floor shifter in
