My son and I managed to change just 3 plugs on his 2002 6 cylinder. I think we can get to the rear on the passenger side, but how do we get to the 2 rear plugs on the driver's side??

take the tire off lift the flap covered the header and spark plug area and remove plug. if stearing column in the way use a socket with a swivil head, one with a cut head so u can use a open end wrench, of some one else offered diconect stear column rod and lift up.

you have to open the steering column that's what is in your way of the spark plugs on the driver side pull it open and the diameter of it gets smaller gives you just enough room to get at it kinda tricky but you get it

next time you replace the number three plug go threw the wheel well and place your spark plug socket on the plug and use a half inch box wrench to inch it out slowly as for the other plugs they should come out easily threw the wheel well
