more recently, my 2004 Astro, AWD, starts slipping when i apply brake on slow speed, making a rattling sound.

Please suggest why is this problem and how to slove it

2000 Astro i have the same trouble the last 6 ft before stopping I loose brake pressure and jumps forward until i push hard on the pedal to stop
