How about they use the same public transportation they have planned for us. Until they cut-off all tax-payer funded benefits to illegal aliens they shouldn't be allowed to leave Sacramento.

Terminate (with extreme prejudice) their car allowance and their per diem. The per diem was/is supposed to compensate them for having to maintain two homes... Instead let them leave their families in their home district and provide them a state owned apartment (with maid service even) close to the Capitol, say within walking distance. Heaven forbid they have to clean up their own messes <G>

If the legislature is cut back to just part time, as they should be, then the rooms could be rented out like a motel room to bring the state some extra money.
