Its obvious by these early pictures GM hasn't quite got the back tailights figured out yet.

Too make the Impala iconic like it was in the 60s, one thing it needs is to have 6 distinct tailights on the rear. Criticisms just about the rear tailights were often the topic of the 2000-2012 Impalas, and the previous 90s cars.

I do not know what all the hype is about the 2014 Impala. Ford beat Chevy to it already, and has the new Taurus. Both cars look very similar. A new Impala with six rear tail lights would be different. I am looking forward to six tail lights, and nostalgia.
