They dropped the price to bring it $5 under $40K for the stripped model. All that money to go 40 miles on a charge, except about 25 in winter. No government rebate now either. What a crappy deal this is.

Let's see...

that boarders on what's called over ambition.

Just because it has been found that no one besides the fed buys them anymore and they probably found them to be over-costing and over-priced per actual worth...

and not even the rentals want buy them anymore as they have their fill already.

So what's the point is too ridiculous to even blather about it anymore...

but continue on for those of you who stand in line on the board.,,:D

Don't neglect the fact that they are offering a new variety of styled wheels for 2012. Here's a vehicle that only projects to sell a few thousand optimistically and they need a dozen wheel styles. This is the kind of thinking that has made the vehicle cost $46,999 when the options are added. GM has not learned from the auto recession.

Quite frankly, it looks like it's nothing more than one of those ploys from BO himself with his hopeful thinking that anyone really wants to buy any of his over-price and untested toys...

as anyone who buys it will be for the "MADE in KOREA" battery but along with that mixed smell of ASSembled by the communist party uaw is still the company's' liability and will turn more people away.

Not only that, it looks like BO himself will be out of a job after 2012.

Maybe he should start looking huh.

Too Funny.

There will always be some who are willing to pay up to be the first on the block. And it looks like it will be awhile before every block has their one buyer who craves attention so much that $40K is no problem. If electric sales ever do amount to anything, the state and fed will have to figure out a way to tax them to pay for roads maintenance.
