Vegetable oil conversion is easier with diesels though.
I can't understand why more people haven't thrown a kit into their diesels. You get to keep your dually (I know, I'm generalizing.) but you still save money.
Granted, you still have to buy diesel fuel, but you use a heck of a lot less and your exhaust could make people hungry!
Older VW's RAWK, BTW, but I'll keep my 'Baru.
have you looked at the cost of the conversion kits for those things??? and the time that it takes to swich everything over. its not just get some vegetable oil fuel and use it. come on and who wants to drive there large truck down the road and have the smell of french fries coming from there exhaust??? most would rather see the coal black smoke!!!

My grand daughter who works in the Harrisburg area tells me gas is now around 3.35 a gallon. Question in my mind is why gas is 30-40 cents higher in this area?? Gas is also cheaper in Shippensburg. Does this infer the local stations are ripping us off??????
