The DTS, formerly Deville, is and always has been a nice luxury car. Some of these car rags want to compare it to some POC Mercedes, Audi, BMW or some other Nazi wagon. Compare it to the Lexus 460 or whatever they call it and I'll take the Caddy. Not everybody wants to take a hairpin corner at 125 mph.

If us Americans would buy and appreciate our good quality vehicles like the DTS we wouldn't have the unemployment and problems we have by buying foreign cars which are no better than US made and cost more. Just look at Toyota's problems!!! Buy American!!!

Through the good and the bad years, Cadillac enthusiasts have long declared that Mercedes vehicles were over-rated.

I owned an 07 DTS for a short time.It had some features I wish my Lincoln had. That being said,I much prefer my Lincoln to the Caddy.Barring the Lincolns lack of power compared to the DTS,I find it a much more suitable car for me.More interior space, more comfortable seats etc. and that 4.6 is bullet proof. The northstar made me nervous.I use to be in the limo biz in NYC and at 90-100k the Caddys fell apart. At 300K plus, the Lincolns just kept on chugging along. And this is 80's and 90's vintage cars im talking about too.DTS is nice looking, but I'm sticking with Lincoln.

But they get better gas! I bet every year a us car company does a reall just like toyota. I want to buy a jeep wranger but it sucks in gas, compared to a bigger SUV of Toyota. The wrangler is smaller and should be better is gas. All we have thats ok in gas is compass ect. OH, but the new Cherokees are ok. But to much $ and size for me
I'll have to wait for f-ing jeep to get off their @ss and make a better gas milage car when the laws change to better fuel
