As usual JJ "Spins" his posts to show only what he wants folks to see.

What he doesn't show here is how close the ratings are for the top ten Upscale Mid Size Cars are.

Only a very narrow point spread between them all, rated as follows:

!. Buick Regal
2. BMW-3 Series
3. Chev. Volt (Note--it's in the "upscale" category)
4. Lexus ES
5. Cadillac CTS
6. Hyundai Genesis
7. Infinity G
8. Volvo S60
9. Mercedes C-Class
10. Audi A5

All of these were so close as to be almost tied!

You're giving me a complex. I need total and complete agreement here with my own views. Yes I am literally that insecure.

We know full well which model was number one.

It's not disputed and never was.

What you conveniently left out was how close numbers 2 through 10 were.

You also didn't mention anything at all about all the other categories which were judged, and how few domestics appeared in those other categories---offshore automakers clearly dominated across the board!

JJ---once again, you've proven that all you have to offer is "Spin" to support your single minded agenda.

I don’t care what car made it to second, third, or fourth or how close one was to another etc. That’s the Straw Man’s argument. There are ten positions and the Buick ranked number one.

In fact, the very thing you wish to pursue is “spin.” This story is straight and to the point. Unfortunately you are unable to discern that fact. It’s a pity.

The real "pity" is the fact that you obviously don't care about anything except your petty grievance against anything not GM.

If you were willing to provide more balanced posting, what little credibility you have would improve dramatically.

Yes, the Buick product led the poll in this case--no dispute there.
But the rest of the story is just as significant, and you seem unable to admit it.

That's the "pity".

That's also why you seem to attract such scorn herein.

It's one thing to stand up for your principles, but another thing to just stir the pot irresponsibly for nothing more than ego gratification.

I am not trying to stir the pot. Just what exactly do you want?

“Buick ranked number one, edging out the BMW, but the other cars are really swell also.”

I just don’t write like that, and it seems silly to me. Let’s change the subject and look at it a different way.

“KFC makes really good fried chicken, in fact, it is the most popular fried chicken in America, but Popeye’s is really good too!”

Using your logic, it would be wrong not to mention Popeye’s.

BTW – I love many cars from many makers. The only thing that gets things moving on these threads happens to be the General. Good or bad, who cares?

Now that you ask.....
Not a question of "Want"---it's what's expected--especially of you JJ.

(1) Fairness and Balanced reportage.
(2) Less "Spin".
(3) Cut the personal attacks.

You do know the person that writes the story DOESN'T write the headline?

The job of the headline is to get you to buy the paper and/or start reading the article, the job of the writer is to teach you something, hold your interest and get you to appreciate the information so you come back for more even if there is an ulterior motive. Look at the poster “whatever or “Driven.” He changed his name to GM makes crap, and the latter uses my handle in an effort to mimic. I caused those actions.
At the end of the day what has happened? They are participating. Although logic may have taken a fall in some if not most of their arguments, at the end of the day the method worked. This is no longer a stagnant forum, hence the reason my participation is now decreased.
