I had this problem too on a 92 buick. I got an error code 17. Turned out to be a bad fuel pump.

The 2000 buick os the biggest piece of junk, and the the dealers have taken me for a ride, at the cost of around $300.00 each time, to tell me there is nothing wrong with the car!!! Slam the trunk
lid, is all I do to make it work..

Noise coming from trunk after I start the car. Lasts for about a minute. The same noise comes on from time to time while I am driving. It sounds like a little motor of some kind. Know what causes the noise?
thats just air ride compressor, totally normal.it levels car by inflating bags in struts.if it doesnt stop after minute or so then theres a leak somewhere.

I have a 2002 buick lasabre with a starting problem. Sometime its just a click and start and other times its crank crank and crank again and starts. I have had the ignition switch replaced and no difference. I have on my own when its in its excessive cranking mood, turned the key through all the ranges and presto it fires right up most of the time. Anyone else had a similar problem?? Thanks for any assistance.

I have a 97 Buick LeSabre. When I turn off the heating/fan system it turns off and than, it comes back on again while the key is in my pocket. This in turn drains my battery. I have to cont recharge the battery. What is going on pls? Is there a heater module of some kind involved?

Hi,
I just bought a 2004 Buick Lesabre custom, beautiful car. When I start the hear noise coming from the back (trunk area? last about a minute then goes away (sounds almost like a compressor). It may also come on later while I'm driving, the dealer said it's the air suspension. Not sure about that, does anyone out there have similar experience????
Thank you, it will make me feel better if someone else has the same issue and hopefully it's "normal".
It is the suspension so no need to worry it's normal i have 2000 LeSabre it does the same thing. It is leveling out the ride, but be careful becaues it can go out i had an expedition and it was $800 each side to fix

I'm having the same problem with my 97 LaSabre. It will run like a top for a few days, then suddenly without any warning she'll cut off while driving. Everything but the windows will work. When it's towed to the mechanics, she starts up again problem so they can't diagnose the problem. Have you found a solution?

This sounds like a crankshaft sensor. Do you have an OBD reader?

<quoted text>Hi James,I have a 2004 Lasabre also, bought it 2 years old and mine does the same thing.Thought it had something to do with the electric fuel pump in the tank.I had it serviced twice for that but was ok. I guess its normal. hope that helps.
I bought a 99 lesabre ane a vew years back the rear of the car looked like a low rider. The air assisted shocks faild and the small air compresser would run but could not keep up with the air leak. The compresser is located close to the right rear fender. The whole rear suspension system is changed out as a unit. Rear seat has to be removed to access some of the bolts (watch the headliner). I am having to deal with this same thing for a second time now. GM told me stiffer springs can be installed. Not sure what that would do with a tuned suspension system. Still soft ride in front and a stiff fide in the rear of the car.
