Fuel Efficiency

Getting an average of 19 mpg with a 2004 Buick Rendezvous. Just bought this thing. Granted, the weather in Kansas is rather cool at the moment. Wanted to know what fuel efficiency others are getting. Thanks.

I'm getting around the same with my 2002 Rendezvous. It seems that the fuel mileage with this vehicle should be much better!

I get 26 on the hwy and 20 in the city with a 2006 CXL. I also had a 2002 CX and it got just slightly lower (25hwy-19city)

I JUST BOUGHT A 2002 RENDEZVOUS CX WE ARE GETTING ALMOST 28 MILES PER GALLON IF YOU RUN WITH TRAFFIC AND NOT AGAINST IT YOU WILL GET THE SAME RUNNING AGAINST TRAFFIC IS WHEN YOU SPEED UP TO THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU AND HAVE TO LET OFF GAS AND ON BRAKE IF YOU STAY AT A NORMAL DISTANCE ( two car lenghts ) YOU WILL GET BETTER FUEL MILAGE STAY CALM AND NOT RACE DOWN THE ROAD YOU WILL GET THERE SAFER

I too get surprisingly good mileage on the highway, not too bad in the city either. But I'm a cautious driver who obeys speed limits: If you're on the highway, stay at 55 or 60 and use cruise control (much better mileage if you let the car's computer choose how much gasoline the car uses). If you're in the city, take it easy and let others pass you - why race to red lights, for example? Keep a constant speed and take your foot off the gas well before you know you're going to stop - that sucker's so heavy it's intertial power is quite potent. I live in a somewhat hilly town, and so I also coast whenever it's possible and safe.

Think opposite of speed racer and your mileage will improve -just take it easy and don't weave in and out of traffic.
