Have a 2000 Buick LeSabre. There is a rumble in what would seem to be the left front wheel or suspension ( front wheel drive ). If the steering
wheel is held in the straight position, the noise is not there, but if you turn slightly to the left
as to change a lane or to correct for drift, you
can hear the rumble. Any ideas as to what is
causing the noise ?

how can i keep the crankshaft pulley from turning while trying to loosen the bolt to replace the crankshaft senor. the bolt is on to hard. Does it loosen clockwise or counter clockwise? Any suggestions?
air tools is the only way you will get the crank bolt out and you still may have to heat the washer behind the bolt to get it loose

Have a 2000 Le Sabre with a dash vent problem. When I turn on he Air, it blows cold air out the dash vents on the passanger side but not the driver side. The force of the air is the same when the air is off, but quite a bit stronger on the right side when the air is on. Dealer no help on this one.
Did you ever figure out a solution to this problem? I've got a 2003 LeSabre and it is doing the same thing.

HELP!!! I have a 95 Buick LeSabre that has 129,00 miles on it. Periodically, without any warning, when I start it up it will cut off without moving. I have had it towed to repair shop 3x's only to be told that "it started right up". They say they don't know what to check if the problem isn't happening when they check it.
I use to have a 96 Buick LeSabre that would cut out for no reason. It turned out that there is a sensor (O2?) that is right under the water pump. It got wet when my pump broke and soon after started having the problem. After doing research on the internet, I made the mechanic replace it against his judgement(3rd one who couldnt diagnose it) He acted like I was just a dumb women who didnt know anything, but guess what? fixed the problem and never had it happen again.

I have a 2000 lesabre as well, had the same problem, drove it for another 2000 miles and it got a little worse. ended up being the left front wheel bearing...$250 fix, no more problems.

If I wanted to tighten up the suspension with better shocks/struts for a 2001 LeSabre Custom, how would I do that? Can that be done?

The LeSabres w/Gran Touring suspension had larger tires usaully w/15" rims and some other tweaks. A tag on the dashboard by the speedomter cluster read "Gran Touring". I had one.

95 Buick LeSabre - A/C & Horn Issues...

Hi, my A/C is now blowing hot or sometimes it will blow cold just through the windshield. Odd! What might be the issue?
My horns too are going crazy... they'll go off at anytime and stay on! I've had to disconnect them in order to keep driving the car!
I hope someone out there can help me.
Thanks!

have a 1992 Buick Lesabre with a 3800 fuel injection. While I am driving,(and it seems to be at random times), my car will completely shut off during driving. No warning..no sputtering, no smoke, nothing. All the lights on the dash, as well as the radio, stay on, but the car just dies. If I try to start it again, I have to let it sit for a good 10-30 minutes before it will even start again. I have no clue why my car would keep doing this... Im guessing its not overheating, because I see no smoke or anything under the hood. It just dies. When I try to turn it over, the car turns over just fine, it just wont start. It sounds like its turning over absolutely perfect, but wont start. As the day goes on, every time I drive again, the stalls become more frequent, and sometimes i get stuck sitting there for a good 45 minutes... but then when it starts, everything sounds and acts completely fine. Its been doing this for about 5 weeks. The only thing thats strange is that once in a while... it makes a weird klunking noise while Im driving... Please help. Im short on cash, and pretty much screwed if I dont fix it. Any ideas?

1995 Buick LeSabre, 3.8 liter, 144,000miles. Just started to stop running while driving. Tried changing fuel filter, but it did not help. At 1st the stopping was every 10 mins, then every 3-5mins....but it would run for a few miles. Now it runs for 3 secs and stops. The check engine light has been coming on off and on for a few wks, but never had this problem. Do the code readers work on 1995 cars?
Thanks!
