I have a small red blinking light on my dashboard right to the left of the slot where you would slide in the CD. There is a picture of a KEY under this light. The light is blinking constantly for almost 20 hours now, only blinks when the car is not running. I tried starting, stopping, driving, locking doors, trunk, jiggling shift, etc. Cannot correct the problem. Please HELP!!!!!!

Sorry, the car is a 2005 Buick LeSabre.

That is your security indicator light. It is suppose to blink. It is a theft deterrent.

I just picked up an 1997 Buick LeSabre from my parents that has 105k miles on it. Does anyone know how I can stiffin up the suspension? I do not care for the "boat" feeling. Thanks.

The Gran Touring edition has the better suspension, but you may want to try mono-tube shocks/struts to start if they have them for your year.

Thanks for your replay. I have not seen a gran touring lesabre, do they have a stiffer ride? Also, what is a mono-tube shock? thanks again.

The LeSabres w/Gran Touring suspension had larger tires usaully w/15" rims and some other tweaks. A tag on the dashboard by the speedomter cluster read "Gran Touring". I had one.

Thanks, Does anyone know where I can purchase a Gran Touring suspension for a 1997 Lesabre. I can not find anything on it any where. When I look up struts and springs it does not say anything about a Gran Touring option.

HELP!!! I have a 95 Buick LeSabre that has 129,00 miles on it. Periodically, without any warning, when I start it up it will cut off without moving. I have had it towed to repair shop 3x's only to be told that "it started right up". They say they don't know what to check if the problem isn't happening when they check it.

Have a 2000 Buick LeSabre.There is a rumble in what would seem to be the left front wheel or suspension ( front wheel drive ). If the steering
wheel is held in the straight position, the noise is not there,but if you turn slightly to the left
as to change a lane or to correct for drift, you
can hear the rumble. Any ideas as to what is
causing the noise ?

Can't purchase the Gran Touring suspension for your LeSabre. It had to be ordered from the factory.

No nothing definite yet. A few tell me that it maybe a ring bearing in the front wheel. I'm an old rearwheel drive guy myself, so this front wheel drive talk is a bit hard to follow.
it could mean a front wheel drive c-v joint that is worn or damaged and will need replacement, cost about $ 700.00 - 1,100.00
dollars. I'm scheduling the vehicle for a service and I'll have them test and inspect for the noise.

i have a 97 lesabre with speedometer problems. it regesters wrong and sometimes i can hit the dash and it returns to normal. how do i get into the dash to find the problem

Engine will crank and not start after being run.
I run into the store come out and it won't start. It cranks and all. So you have to wait about 15-20 minutes then it fires right up again. I'm suspecting a bad crankshaft or cam position senor. Can one replace by themselves or is it to complicated and should be taken into a repair shop? Anyone else have this problem?

From time to time the starter in my 2003 LeSabre Limited will not work. It doesn't turn at all... like there is no electrical power to it. Other electrical components seem to be normal. After a half-hour or so of removing and reinserting the ignitaion key and shifting into and out of Park and Neutral, I have been able to get the engine started. Each time this has happened, I have taken the car to the dealer; they do a scan and find no recorded trouble code. They don't have a firm answer to the problem. This hasn't happened in about 6 months, but is a nagging problem that I would like to resolve. Any suggestions? I have been reading about the Pass-Key III system and am wondering if it could be causing this. If this is a likely cause can it be disabled?

Try going to Ebay and getting a replacement dash assembly. Easy to replace. It fixed my problem, just like yours.
