Where is that dead crow on a plate? I'm sure Consumer Reports is not happy about Lexus losing ground to Buick. Expect some nasty Buick reports from CR. They don't take it too kindly when the sweetheart gets beaten.

Remember, even import drivers have same asinine attitude as CR does. When I read response from import drivers regarding that cars.com article, they are baseless, immature, and down right laughable.

As the Americans continue to barrel forward with great innovative and competitive product, it is all coming to fruition.

"What makes the role reversal between Lexus and Buick even more astounding is that Lexus has nine models — though one is the LFA supercar — and Buick has only four."

It's not having the most models, it's about having the cars that folks want. Buick is in a sweet spot right now, great cars, well-built and well equipped for a good price.

If they can keep the line-up fresh over the next few years, they'll own this segment.

Those Buick cars are really nice and all but we are looking at getting a Cruze. That thing gets 58 MPG.

Cruze Eco is the best best value sub $20k car available. Go for the stick. Buick will start offering a new smaller car, the Verano, but that won't be for a while. The new cars return Buick to a prestige brand image.

Lexus has become 1980's circa Buick.
The average buyer is old and most of those are Mexicans.

If they can turn Buick into a brand that beats Lexus they can bring Pontiac back.

We bought a Lacrosse last year. It’s absolutely the best car we have ever owned. Fit and finish is wonderful and the car is very comfortable with a smooth ride. Overall it is a very refined machine.

LaCrosse, and more so, Regal are a triumph of combined German and American engineering. These cars are adapted from current Opel models.

GM was smart to keep control of Opel. This unit is a leader in design. It needs some help, but thank goodness it wasn't sold !

Kinda neat, Lex-sux was based on copying German cars originally, now German designed cars are wooping Lex-sux.
