According to the study, the Buick Rainier, the Mazda Tribute, a Chevrolet 2500 or 3500 pickup, the Kia Spectra and the Buick LaCrosse top the list of least-ticketed vehicles, 10TV's Joanna Freeman ...

Do you drive a pink tiny pickup truck with giant wheels?? I think I saw you revving your engine next to some old lady in a honda accord the other day! You were blaring your Celine Dion and making your car rise up and down!

I'm impressed!

A Chevy truck is a loser vehicle??
Funny part is only two of these vehicles are still made?? Maybe they are ticketed less because there are so few of them.(except Chevy trucks)

<quoted text>My friend, please read the article again, then reconsider how clever you think you are. The list is of the cars LEAST likely to be pulled over.
You can't possibley see any of the cars except maybe, and thats a big maybe, a new redesigned Lacrosse as a sign of money? Most of these cars are only available on used cars lots , mostly buy here die here lots, because they are no longer produced and none of them have ever had good residual. Yep thats certainly a rich mans car, those snobs in there Chevy Uplander.

Remember when Al Gore's son was pulled over in a Prius a while ago? He was ticketed for going 90 mph and for marijuana possession. I didn't know a Prius could go that fast. Just sayin...

A cop in Piketon, Ohio pulled over and ticketed an automotive journalist who was driving a brand new luxury/high performance type vehicle. The cop's comment was, that thing MUST have been speeding, just by the way it looks. Piketon is a little, no-stop-light speed trap town on St. Rte. 23 where the limit drops from 55MPH to 50MPH for about 1.5 miles. I'm sure the cop had never even seen a $120,000.00 car in his town before and gave the ticket because it LOOKED like it was speeding. He didn't even claim that he had clocked it on RADAR.

My Spectra gets up to 110mph. It probably would go beyond that, but I haven't tried anything faster than that. Thanks! HA

List makes no sense at all since a Mazda Tribute is a Ford Escape.
Buick Rainier is a GMC Envoy / Chevrolet Trailblazer off same assembly line and had fewest sales of that group. Pontiac Vibe is a Toyota Matrix clone. Those three had very low sales volume so it is easy to see why so few are stopped. I really hope no taxpayer dollars were blown on this waste of time. I also noted the Kia Spectra ... Will it even go 55 ??????????

You aren't kidding, man. Those cops in South Bloomfield LOVE tickets. They either sit between the Dairy Queen and the light or at the rest stop. They must fund that whole city with tickets.
I'm betting the cops from New Rome are working there now!

The only way you can get a spectra up to 110 is if you drove it off a cliff.

My wife has a candy apple red Lincoln MKT. She has been told by several people that the color red is sure to get a ticket for speeding. She refuses to use the cruise control, so I'm just waiting with crossed fingers!
