These overpaid union workers get paid for not working during this period. Why is this a story?

I work at the Parma Stamping Plant. It was nice having a 2 week shutdown. It'll be missed very much. But, we have taken in alot of work from other plants and we are very busy. So keep buying AMERICAN.

Do I sense a bit of jealousy? Why do you care? You probably own a Japanese car and support that country.

Most Japanese cars are made here in the USA. Much of GM's production capability is located in Canada and Mexico.

I like my Honda, thank you very much.

My ex brother in law used to work for GM in MO. In 1989 he was getting $25 an hr. During the switch overs to new models, they got 75% of their pay plus their unemployment. They made more not working than working. I know they make more than $25 an hr. now!

they get Full pay+ there average over time! with all pay aggregrete it equalls to 75.00 per hour, and the American taxpayers are footing the bill! Remember GM hasn't make one penny in profit from auto sales in North America to date.+ their pension is under funded around 26 BILLION DOLLARS!
