BMW E39 Dashboard Lights

There is no fuse in the foglight spot in the fuse box, also it dosent change with the switch or the headlights. Thanks. Debo

on my 1999 528i the horn and steering wheel radio controls stop working, the seat belt and air bag light came on without without warning. any ideas out there?

There is a button that turns the abs system on and off, when the system is off the light is on. make sure you didn't just accidentally turned off the abs system

i have a bmw series 3 compact, a light popped up and im not sure what it is, its an amber circle with squigally lines either side. casn any1 help

I have an e39 bmw and a problem withh abs light always and with ignition and he wipers not working properly, also speedo inop. Have replced sensor and tried resetting fault but no joy. Can anybody give any advice?

Your fault is whats known as the stering wheel squib... Its a ribbon that mounts at the back of the steering whee and is well known for snapping due to steering wheel movement.

Sounds like your brake pad warning lamp.....have pads looked at to make sure you have sufficient amount left on the pads.

Help--I recently purchased a 1994 325i convertible without a manual and the dashboard lights are quite mysterious. Yesterday a light came on the dash when the car was turned off that looked like a triangle with a line under it to the right and another line going up.....like a stick figure drawing of a mountain and a tree at a campsite or something. The light turned off when the car was running. Ay idea what this means anybody? Thanks

I have a 2001 540i and all the lights are working except around the area of the temperature indicator. In this area the light is now very dull making it hard to read. Is there a way to fix this easily? Any comments and or suggestions will be appreciated.

I have a 1999 BMW 320I Which I have just bought, according to the dash board its only done 68000 Kilometres. However a amber light on the dashboard comes on when I reach speeds over 100kph, additionally the revs are very high for the speed of the car. Can anyone offer any advice

I have a bmw 1993 3201, i dont know what the problem is but when i turn on my car it has a exclamation mark in orange on the dashboard.. i dont know what it means but it sounds like my car is only running on 3 cylinders and i put my foot on the exzelarator flat to the floor and it wont go past 50km... some one please help me.. that you all..

That happened to me, too. The light came on and I was in the middle of nowhere so just kept driving. I got to a town and it died on me and would not start. It's at a shop now. Have you gotten any answers because I don't have any yet.
