Back in January I bought a Pontiac G8 GT and love it. One of the best handling sedans yet from any automaker especially it the price range. Just took it on a short trip to South Carolina the car was a blast to drive all the way and considering the G8 weights in at 4000 pounds I got 26 mpg on the expressway, not bad at all. I have no regrets in buying my G8. itís a great carÖ.

Great! It is an Aussie car, not American --> that's why it handles well :) Enjoy it. I drove a Holden Commodore last year in Perth and also liked it.

Yea I know it came from Australia. I too have driven a Holden but it was in Cairns I never made it to the west coast, I got as far west as Alice Springs and Ayers Rock. Hopefully someday Iíll return to Oz itís a great place maybe then I can see a bit more of the country. Either way I bought the car because I liked it. I test drove one and I like the appearance also. Really didnít care if it would out perform a Dodge Charger RT or not it was just a car that I wanted. And I figure you only live once so you should indulge yourself from time to time. I have my G8 in the garage with a 79 Camaro that I bought new; she has just 12k on the clock today a car that saw rain once. Every man has his passion mine just happens to be cars.

I'll have to say they compared them on top gear and the Charger turns like a dump truck and since men drive dump trucks too I guess that's where you get that notion from. apples to apples GT to RT, GXP to SRT8, you never had a chance, the charger is like the fury in the 80's, a cop car, and everyone knows cop cars are slow (motortrend issue 2011) I know you charger boys think you can drive better than the pro's but you can't do that either

We know how good those Pontiacs were ,...they quit making them,...what a f**king looser...

The SRT 8 was quicker and the 2012 Charger SRT 8,..470hp.....will suck the headlights out of the GXP as it screams by..

also the (American Version) of Top Gear is a Whoosie show.....for Whoosies like you..

The only thing chargers are good for is for hauling around some moonshine and having a confederate flag on top

Pontiac closed up the show because of sales. Try driving a 470 hp Hemi and you will trade that Fugly Klown Car in.
Only History will tell the future, and we know where Pontiac's Future is.
