Squeaking sound

I hear a squeaking noise coming from the engine. It is almost like: there is a little mouse running in the middle of the engine, it is not loud but I can hear it when I roll down my windows... It was at first only at the cold starts and for 5-10 secs... But now it got a bit worse and I can hear it in the first and second gears during acceleration. Is this a common problem in 325s? Some sort of a belt issue? Alternator bearings??

Another thing: I put the shift to idle and hit on the gas pedal relatively quick. I literally hear a breathing noise (1-2 secs)coming from the engine before it picks up the gas... Sorry It is really hard to describe voices over writing... Any ideas?

I know exactly what you mean. Just had 2 belts replaced and a power steering pump and still it sounds like that. Its not a squeel its a squeak and it doesn't really stop. Well at least at first it didn't but now it is getting worse. I am out of money and patience at this point. HELP
