German Cars still lead all others...better alloys of iron for the engines.

The old cars from the 70's and early 80's I still see on the streets are all American.These aren't restored vehicles, but old workhorses continuing to do their jobs.That's the quality aspect people don't see these days,longevity AND high mileage.Will today's cars measure up?
