why are the sales of the rl so slow, still can't figure this out, been a car person for many years, some people say it the style (?)others say bad gas milage, wife averages 21.4 in the city and well over 25 on the open road, we chose the car over a 330i, anyone care to comment on the slow sales.

I think they would do better with more aggressive advertising. I have never seen a commercial on TV for the RL. I have had mine for two months now and it is the best car I have ever owned. But on the other hand I kind of like the fact that you don't see too many of them around...

The reason is the ridiculously high lease deals. For a fully loaded RL they wanted over 700 a month. I was able to score a fully loaded Infiniti M35X for 609. They both had the same or comparible features.

The words might be getting around – Acura sucks! I currently own a 2004 TL. I would have considered to buy the new RL as my next car. BUT! I am very disappointed in the TL and the way Acura dealers responded to my complaint. The rattling parts in the cabin make this car probably the worst vehicle that I have ever driven. My 2004 TL is simply embarrassing. Acura – smakura! Don’t ever buy an other Acura!

Your problem is your dealer not the car. Complain to the Acura representative an then go to another dealer that will treat you the way Acura expects their customers to be treated. I have had rattles fixed after 3 years and 38,000 miles. I agree that when you pay as much as you did, you are intitaled to better service.

The car is just to small for the market it is trying to compete in. If you are going to compete with the likes of Lexus, you have to offer a car that is capable of being a touring car. The back seat is to small and the trunk is a jock. Do you leave your golf clubs or your wife's clothing behind.

My RL gets 28-30 MPG highway. I like the Rl's subtle styling and the AWD engineering & performance. in addition, I have owned two TLs and had no problems with either one. My dealer has always done a great job. In my opinion both the RL & the TL represent great values for the money.

LOVE MY NEW 2007 MDX - GAS MILAGE IS THE VERY BED.
14.5 AVE AND THERE IS A FUNNY THING ABOUT THE ELCTRONICS IN THIS SUV, THERE IS NO PLACE WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE INSTANT GAS MILAGE. THIS FEATURE IS ON ALL OTHER MODELS.

WHEN I LOOKED AT THIS CAR THE SALES MEN TOLD ME IT GOT 19 MPG TO 22 MPG.

I own a 2008 Acura TL (bought new) and it is the worst purchase I have ever made. It is unreliable, 1st week I had it, I got 4 jumps, went back to the dealer they changed the battery. So far they changed the battery twice and I have gotten more jumps than I can remember. The electronic components seem to drain the battery, obviously Acura doesn't know shit about the products they sell. The weather temp changes and again the car wont start, what a waste of money, I am considering a law suit against them...honestly it has had an effect on my life. I cant get to work on time, meetings had to be canceled, this is bull shit and I'm not going to take it any more. Acura needs to recall this piece of shit they call a vehicle. Enough!
