2001 Acura MDX motor mounts

2002 MDX, needed both front and side motor mounts replaced as they were "broken"...$600.

I had to replace two motor mounts in my 2003 Acura MDX at just 47,000 miles. I've never heard of this before, and dealer said it's the Arizona heat wears 'em out. NEVER had to replace motor mounts on a late model car before. I had to pay labor, of course, while dealer "donated" the parts.
Like some others here, the rear A/C just quit with only 56,000 miles. What gives? AND the front panel A/C vent directional tabs keep falling off; now for the 3rd time. They need to remedy this.

I have a 2001 MDX with 90,000 miles, just expired the extended warranty. While the dealer was doing a routine oil change I was told the front and right side motor mount need to be replaced and cost about $900.00. It is very disappointing to have such an experience from an Acura vehicle which I thought would be reliable. Has any body had luck with getting acura to pay for it?

We have a 2002 MDX with 60,000 miles. Front and right side motor mounts need to be replaced. Unbelievable.

I am fuming. Saturday, I replaced two engine mounts on my 2001 MDX. I only have 61,000 miles on the vehicle. I had a major service in March (prior to the extended warranty expiration) and have only driven 6000 miles since then. I have no doubt that the mounts were broken or cracked then.

This car has only been serviced by the dealer. After the fact, I found this forum. Did I mention that my CD player malfunctioned in August? I have yet to repair that. After reading these posts, I'm waiting for the next bomb to drop. This is such a cliche. The warranty expired and now the car that I loved is falling apart.

I would recommend that everyone file a complaint on the nhtsa website. I did. If there are enough, there could be a recall for these engine mount and transmission issues.
