Just had to replace two motor mounts on my MDX after only 65,000 easy street miles. Anyone else having similar problems?

I was getting a rumbling noise and it Acura says it was the throttle cable and they tighten it. Now it's the front and side motor mounts. Had them replaced and now the rumbling is still occurring. Anyone having the rumbling problem when driving?

I was told today I need to replace two motor mounts, at 71,000 miles, mostly highway. This seems ridiculous.

I had my motor mounts replaced. The cost was around $295.00..Acura Dealership wants to charge $595.00..What is up with that?

Found out the rumbling noise is not the transmission. Need to have transmission replaced.

I just found out that the motor mount needs to be replaced at 59,000 miles. Also the Knock Sensor is out and is approx.$600.00 to fix. Has anyone had this problem?
Has anyone had problems with the second row seat latches??

Was your MDX making a "clicking" sound when you put it in gear after sitting for awhile? It seems to go away until the next day. Does that sound familiar at all? Thanks

I have a 2001 MDX with 75,000 miles. I just replaced 2 motor mounts, as well. I am hoping to get another year out of the car. It just runs great, but am starting to have other "minor" issues.

How do you know if the motor mounts are going bad?

We were told we needed to have our transmission replaced because there wasn't a cooling system with the towing package. We only have 69K miles. HELP. we are stuck!

Am having the motor mount replaced today for $560 at the dealer. The car has 60K miles and I was quite surprised by this. What's going on?

Just replaced the right engine mount on my 2001 MDX after only 33,000 miles and almost five years while at the dealer having a routine service. Technician told us it was broken but we hadn't noticed anything yet. He was surprised it was broken with such low mileage but said the age of the car was responsible even though we've done mostly easy neighborhood driving with it. Dealer said Acura would probably cover the part cost but we would have to pay labor. Santa Monica Acura charged us $150 for the labor. Now I'm wondering if we should have held out for the labor too. Never had to replace an engine mount on a car before. Other problems: had the rear A/C go out a couple of years ago and also the back of front passenger seat fall off. Had to have the car jumped several times and buy a new battery after a few years because running the CD player or having the power windows down while in accessory mode drained the battery after less than an hour.

I was told also I had to replace the motor mounts at around 65,000 miles, not only that, I need a NEW TRANSMISSION, it was making a rumbling sound for about 9 months and I took it to 4 different mechanics and 2 of them were ACURA dealers. Finally found out it was the transmission $4500 to repair!
It is a known fact by consumer reports that this is a defect and known issue with 2001 and 2002 MDX. See consumerreports.org .

I have 112,000 miles on my MDX and I have replaced the tranmission, the motor mount and the back air does not work. The only chanrge me for larbor since I complained a lot about the transmission and it cost me $1200 to have the Transmission repair. It took a couple of days and they gave me a car to get back and forth in.

I took my 2001 MDX in for a routine oil change and the dealership just called to tell me I have 2 broken motor mounts - the car has 52,000 miles on it! He also said the EGR valve was faulty and offered to replace that under an extended warranty. My car lives in the garage and has been driven carefully since Feb 2001. Hope Acura fixes this problem on it's vehicles - I'm very disappointed.
