I have never had a problem with my rear a/c or heater ever since 2002 and now for some reason it will not work at all. I am wondering if my son might have touched a wire, but I don't even know where they are. Has anyone ever had this problem with there MDX and if yes how did you fix it. I am trying to stay away from the dealerships. It may even be a fuse. Who knows.

Thanks again guys

The rear ac blower transistor located in the left center panel (near shifter) is causing the blower and or heater not to come on and would need to be replaced, you can find some on ebay and are real easy to replace...

Same here. For my 2005 Acura MDX, front heating does not work 75% of times. I get cold air when trying to heat. Rear is fine.
I am searching for next steps

The intake for the rear a/c clogs and causes the transistor to short. It's exactly like a hair dryer that gets clogged and shorts out. You need to pop out the panel near your right foot and clean the screen, mine was filled with my dog's hair :o). Hear is a link to Do It Yourself(DIY) with pictures so you can save yourself 200 bucks.

I have a 2014 MDX.. the heating system sucks, you cant get warm air over the drivers legs for about 40 minutes of driving, there is so little air coming out of the vent that it just blows the cold air around. I am so disappointed in ths 60,000.00 vehicle........

A few months ago I purchased a 2015 acura mdx. Same issue: have to turn heater to "Hi" highest temp to barely feel warm, and that's even if it's in the 50's out (chilly, but not freezing). Also notice that when front and back air is on "sync" and I turn the temp down, it is pretty hot still in the back compared to front, so I can't even sync all the vent temps. I've taken it in several times, Acura claims nothing wrong and "it's normal", and everyone responds to temperature differently! They've been in denial of the problem, and say all the auras they've test driven are the same,(Like that's relevant, okay, so that just means they're all poorly designed). I specifically told my sales guy I needed a vehicle that did well in a cold climate because eventually I wanted to move! So frustrated and no idea now what to do. Just spent close to
$70,000 on this vehicle. It's insane to have 30-something temp range and only on high do you feel any heat. Even one of the mechanics for acura said you should feel a gradual change in temp as you turn it up (no brainer), and yet I can change it for example from 74F to 83F before I begin to feel the slightest heat and it's still never enough! They won't do anything for me!!!! Told me to call customer service. Please let me know your thoughts. Those of us having this problem need to rally together and let this company know it's not okay and justice should be served....
