I just got my car out of the shop, I reluctantly used my aunt's mechanic,(she is paying for everything upfront). Well these people have had my car for over 1 1/2 months, 1800$ later, and my car is still overheating, They did a tune up, changed the water pump and timing belt, the radiator cap, all new hoses, it has a new thermostat, anyways I just got it back( for the 3rd time) three days ago. I drove it and it was just fine until today I left the house and barely got 1/2 mile away and it overheated. I never let it get completely hot though. I know these assholes ripped my aunt off, and I don't know what else could be wrong with it. The mechanics just left my house and now they say it could be a bad thermostat, after 1800$ worth of work and now they want to say it could be a 15$ part. Someone please give me some advice.

Sue them. Look up the automobile act of 1974. Thanks.
